Yesterday was a fair day for me at the track. First time on track with the SC10 4x4. I qualified fourth out of 10 trucks with me running a Velineon brushless system and kit tires. We ran two 10 minute mains and the time and laps were added together to figure the overall winner. I had a steering servo issue about 3 minutes in during the first main and had to pull of dropping me to last place which also meant I started last in the second main. I fixed my steering servo issue which turned out to be loose mounting screws. For the first 5 minutes of A2 I was working through slower traffic and eventually got up to second. I was holding a good gap between me and third until with a minute and a half left, my battery dumped and put me to half power. Wound up finishing third in A2. The winner (who also TQ'd and won A1) had about 1/4 lap on me before my battery dumped. So overall, Im pleased with the truck and am definately glad I had TBR bumpers on both ends. I nosed over many times through one double-single section trying to find the right speed and I know the bumpers saved my steering assembly and rear end more times than I can count. I'll send a link to the results as soon as they are posted.
