About TBR Bumper Designs
An explanation of our bumper designs.

TBR BASHER We made the front Basher for those of us who find it hard to drive in a straight line or just like to peg the throttle and see where we end up (you know who you are).  They give you better front-end protection than the stock bumpers do.  The two-wheel drive cars have a flat bumper since their front bulkhead is slanted upwards already.  The four-wheel drive cars get a bent version with a 45-degree upkick.

TBR RACER:  Racers are made to take on the track without bashing your buddies when you t-bone them.  They run about 1/2" less in depth than the Bashers.  This means that they don't stick out as much and sit closer to the body.  The 1/10th 4-wheel drive Racers have a bend on them which provides more upkick than our flat Racers.  Racers can be identified by a 5-hole pattern.

TBR RACER2:  These bumpers are similar to our 4WD buggy bumpers in that they have a bend in them. They are made of .093 Nylon (thinner than regular bumpers) and have a new design. They are light and flexible making them a good addition to your buggy.

TBR RACER3:  These bumpers are similar to our our Racer2 front bumper for the 2WD buggies, but are designed for the 4WD buggies.  They are made of .125" nylon and extend a little further back than the 4WD Racers.  They also come with two holes on each side of the bumper to mount LED lights if you so choose.

1/8 PRO:  Designed to be a little larger than the stock bumpers to provide extra coverage.  They are mounted under the chassis with the four differential screws and double as a skid as well.  They have an upkick in front.  Material is .125" Nylon.

1/10 PRO Range from 1-1/2" to 2" wide (a lot smaller than our 6" Racer bumper). They are made of nylon and provide compact protection without adding excessive weight.  Made for the 4WD buggy racers out there that want something more than a stock bumper.

TBR THRASHER:  These bumpers are made for the two-wheel and four-wheel drive stadium trucks and truggies. A mix between our flat Basher and our bent Racers, the Thrashers are wider and are bent to keep you from "digging in" when landing jumps.

TBR THRASHER2:  Same width as the Thrasher front bumper, with a different look. Comes with two holes that will let you mount LED bezels for running your lights.

TBR REAR:  Th These guys "cover your rear" so to speak. They offer protection from those friendly hits from behind, the nose-high big-air landings and hitting the reverse on your radio by accident.  Great protection for your motors.  They are bent like the four-wheel drive front bumpers.

TBR NM REAR:  The NM rear bumper comes with a set of "eyes" instead of our standard three-hole pattern of our rear bumpers. We have T-Bars available for certain NM models. All Monster rear bumpers will eventually have a T-Bar option.

TBR NM Front:  The NM front bumper comes with a set of "eyes" instead of our standard four-hole pattern on the Bashers. These are designed specifically for the 1/8 Truggies.

TBR SKID:   Our skids are made of Delrin.  The front buggy skids are beveled on the leading edge and are mounted with six screws.  The rear skids use four mounting screws and have an arrowhead shape with their leading edges beveled also.

TBR SC BASHER:  Designed as a replacement for the stock short-course bumpers.  These are not made to look like the big trucks, but built to protect your front end.  The SC Basher replaces the stock bumper and bumper mounts with one bumper and one brace.  Simple and effective.

TBR SC BASHER2:  This style bumper ( formally called S-Basher) was modeled after some of the short course trucks namely the Slash. Just different design. Same mounting and protection.

TBR SC Racer:  A little bit smaller and lighter then our Basher and SC Basher.

TBR Wide Basher rear:  At 7-1/2" wide, this guy gives will "cover your rear" like nothing else.
